One lady noted that when she put in her Duracell battery, the device revved up and took off so I didn’t really know what to expect.

I read instructions for how to use it and got started. Based on several reviewers’ advice, I threw away the battery that came with it (some had mega problems with that battery) and installed my own Duracell battery. So what’s a girl to do?I ordered it and it came within 3 days…that’s very good.

So I had been semi-frantically and studiously checking out Amazon for a few weeks. This particular little hair remover-shaver had more reviews than many others and as always women hated it… and they loved it. This ‘stash had been a part of my face for many years, even before the dreaded menopause and I hated it as much as hot flashes and sleepless nights. My son’s getting married in a month (bless his heart) and I didn’t want facial hair showing up on MY face in the wedding pictures. I had tweezered them for many years but of course then I had little black stubbles if I didn’t pluck day and evening. I had a pretty significant, to me anyway, mustache. OK I read a ton of reviews before ordering the Finishing Touch Flawless Women’s Painless Hair Remover, aka tiny shaver (YES, it is a shaver). One more thing, even though the 24k played gold is hypoallergenic, I still felt that it’s impossible to prevent bacteria buildup and lo and behold, I have broke out slightly from using this. Based on the way this is made, you can see it’s virtually impossible as the blade never touches skin. I even emailed the company who told me to keep going over the same spot and there will be no stubble. I just purchased an Epiwand and plan on trashing this. I honestly wish I’d never purchased this bc I feel like a man when I rub my face upward, against the grain. No matter how many times I go over the same spot, or how hard I press down on my face to get the razor close enough, it leaves stubble. That means this will only break off the hair and leave you with a bit of stubble. This is not an epilator, it will not pull the hair from the root. However, those that have success w this product must not have much hair to remove in the first place.

I purchased this, based on the good reviews, for peach fuzz. So much that I tried using it every day for the first three days thinking that maybe I was using the wrong technique.
